I have also a map problem. I have read back into the forum and discovered 2 threads with the advice to hit the right arrow????????
Wich arrow are we talking about???? I do not understand what this arrow is, or where it is in the screen.
On the leftside I see a vertical bar with the zooming, if I am zooming in the map gets al fuzzy…

Hello.

Haven't been able to download new OSM map layers for a while now, even though I use APRSIC32 offline, only in the radio version, in conjunction with a TNC. Sometimes I need to download maps. Not to mention a fresh install, then it's a disaster without maps. I'm curious what the cause is? I don't know yet. Probably access to the map server.

Hi,

I am a new aprsis32 user. After installed the aprsis32, the map is not loaded. I found some new users have also the same issue. Some people luckily have previous data so they can copy them into the new installed windows. How about the first time aprsis32 user?
Some threads mentioning about GeoFabrik, it might be a solution I will be trying. Do someone have successful experience about it?

Does any have any guides on how to properly set up a Text port. I'm not exactly sure what it's for. I'm assume you can push text packets to to ingested into the digipeater. I would like to experiment, but not sure exactly how it works. Thank you!

This site has done a good job of showing me how much the paradigm of marrying a computer to a TNC & radio has advanced since I started using UI-View.

I have a copy installed, call sign set, objects defined, all kinds of neat stuff ready for prime time except that nothing is heard over the air and the TNC isn't telling the radio to send stuff. I can send a copy of my configs, though if anyone else is using the non-plus KPC-3 successfully, I'd really appreciate hearing how your installation of APRS-IS is set up to run with it.

Got the Kantronix 3+ and been trying to get all this to work. Yours is the 3rd app I have tried. I see data coming out of the TNC in the log. But I never see anything get forwarded to the APRS-IS services. Running simple Kiss. The local map does not display the received client either. Other apps would display the received devices on the screen (this does not) but none of them have wanted to forward to -IS. Total Noob here with this system. Anyone have any ideas how to correct this?

I'm running APREIS32 on a Linux computer through Wine. It's been running great.

The other day at work I had a power failure My computer will automatically power pack on and the main profile logs on automatically. I just can figure out for to run a APREIS32 as a Wine app on login in. Any ideas?

In my area I have another digipeater nearby but I don't believe it is also an I-Gate. When I transmit my beacon ( KF0KFL-1 ) and weather station ( KF0KFL-13) . If possible, I would like to delay my IS transmission by maybe 30 seconds or so to see if it will be gated by another station. I don't want to completely disable my outputs to IS because my transmissions don't always get picked up and digipeated and gated.

Howdy everyone. My station has lost the map details in the original tileset. It is still plotting stations correctly, there are just no map details. Anybody know why this is happening and what I need to do to remedy it?

Some of the more dull colors, YELLOW for example, are totally illegible in my old eyes. I searched through what I believe was all the drop-down's and never found a way to change the colors.

Greetings:

I am trying to interface an FTM100dr to the APRSISCE program via DigiRig.
I setup the serial com-port in APRSISCE for the FTM100dr
When I (enable) the FTM100dr port the radio goes into transmit mode immediately and stays locked up.
In the com port setup, I chose Simple Kiss mode. The com port setup does not seem to have an RTS/CTS or PTT controls?
There is no drop down menu for the FTM100dr so i chose Simple Kiss mode.
Has anyone tried a similar setup?
Does anyone have any tips of suggestions for this problem?

I am new to the APRSIS program so I am sure that there's something I am doing wrong here. When I enter my information, the program turns into a half inch tall white box across my screen. It looks like maybe it's a narrow slice out of the program screen. Nothing I do can make it change. I have to stop the program in task manager to get it to stop.

What am I doing wrong?

I've a similar question. What do all the colours mean in the Scroller? My callsign is highlighted in yellow, I think the callsign being tracked highlights in red, but I can see green callsigns, yellow callsigns, brown callsigns, and they change colour when you move the crosshairs over the map. I can't see a key to how it works so I'd be grateful of an easy explanation please.

Can anyone tell me why my callsign appears red? I can't find a key to tell me the different color codes.
