I have a strange one,
I have been running aprsis32 for some time now and all seems to work, but recently I have noticed that if I
go out before about 05:00 hrs in a morning it does not pick me up on RF but if I then come home etc after that
sort of time it picks me up ok.
If there is someone using aprs in general I am picked up ok its just my RF side.

Is there some sort of time setting that inhibits it before a certain time ?

This is better handled in the Yahoo group, but if you post a callsign-SSID of the station(s) in question, it would be most helpful.

Are you running just a mobile station, or an IGate as well?

Do you require a digipeater to get from the mobile to an IGate?

Is it a case of RF coverage? I know my own IGate coverage varies significantly both on time-of-day and weather conditions, not to mention the 2m ducting that sometimes has me copying digipeaters as far away as Jacksonville (180 miles across flat coastline).

The callsign of the fixed station is G6YRK Which is where the aprsis32 is running and the callsign of the
car as call it is G6YRK-14
I live in a small town called Glossop and it is in a Valley but my location is about 500ft ASL but have hills
at nearer 1000ft ASL so the idea if the system is to relay any one who travels through the valley and
and re transmit via the internet to the outside world.
But just recently I sometimes go out at about 04:00 in the morning where normally go out about 06:00
but when I go out earlier it does not pick me up, but if I go out later it does.
Its as if there is some form of a clock that only allows it to work after a certain time !
