I must be doing something wrong with the configuration but I simply can't find any answers in the documentation.
So, I am running APRSIS32 on Win10 connected to a KPC3 (not KPC3+). After researching I found a reference in the documentation saying to add "<DigiXform>WIDE1-1=WIDE1*</DigiXform>" to the APRSIS32.xml file. My system's call sign is W7REJ located just south of Tucson, AZ.
I did that and restarted APRSIS32. To test the setup I am running an Android with APRSDroid connected by the BTECH APRS cable to a Baofeng radio. This setup is identified by W7REJ-9.
APRSIS32 is digipeating from my Baofeng as evidenced by the 'W7REJ-9@" in the scroller. I can also see that my system is digipeating other stations. So here's the problem. I don't see my APRS digi on aprs.fi nor do I see my W7REJ-9 system. Also, I am not seeing any other stations displayed on my Android's APRSDroid. Now if I enable the APRS-IS (internet) port, my Droid gets sent over that port and shows up on APRS.FI as well as the digipeater. But I do not want that port enabled when this is running correctly. The desire is for this to provide fill in coverage further south away from Tucson where the other digis live.
I can't find anything in the documentation that gives a complete description on how to set this up. Can someone point me to something that will help me correct this, or can someone that is running the same kind of setup send me a copy of their settings (APRSIS32.xml) that I could use to fix mine? Thanks.
